Starting from 3rd Feb. 2017, the Jubilee fields will be shutdown for a period of 15 days. The shutdown is to allow for a tie in of production from the Tweneboa, Enyera and Ntomme fields which will serve as an alternative gas source for the power generation enclave at Aboadze.

Alternative gas supply will ensure that power generation is not impacted by the planned for an extended maintainance work on turrets of the FPSO Kwame Nkrumah.

Production from the Jubilee field has been impacted by the defects in 2016 when average daily production was 75,000 barrels compare to the actual capacity of 120,000 b/d. The extended maintainance is projected to last between 12 - 14 weeks.
